CAN I LEARN TO SURF ON MY OWN?
Of course it's possible to learn to surf on your own, but it's not ideal.
Reason being that there's a whole lot to learn - especially starting out - that's super important for learning the basics and staying safe in the water, starting with the right technique from the beginning.
That's why we recommend starting with a surf lesson if you can before going it alone renting a surfboard and hitting the surf solo.
